Pepita's Poinsettia Brooch {Pale Pink}

Legend tells of a girl, commonly called Pepita or Maria, who was too poor to provide a gift for the celebration of Jesus' birthday and was inspired by an angel to gather weeds from the roadside and place them in front of the church altar. Crimson blossoms sprouted from the weeds and became poinsettias. This is why we associate this beautiful bloom with Christmas!

This brooch is made from laser cut acrylic & pieced together with care, from an original sketch by Buttercup's Babe. This brooch uses a mix of acrylics with lots of hand painted gold details . Measuring 6cm wide & 5.5m high, it has a stainless steel brooch backing and can be worn on your shirt, jacket, bag, hat... your creativity is the limit!

Please keep in mind:
Our brooches are assembled and painted by hand, whilst we strive to make them all look identical, there will be small differences due to the handmade nature of this art. Any acrylic with a pattern through is will mean each and every brooch will be slightly different, this is what we consider one of the best parts of brooch making - every piece is unique! Please be careful with your brooches, although they are sturdy, if you drop them, they could break.
