Dot's Jacaranda

Named after my Grandma, who grew up in Grafton, and based on an artwork by my Mum (Handmade by Jules), this bloom is a true family affair. Aptly, you can wear this piece right near where it was grown - the heart.

This brooch is made from laser cut acrylic, then pieced together with care, from an original sketch by Handmade by Jules. Dot's Jacaranda uses a frosted mauve and rippled green, with lots (and lots) of hand painted details. It is also adorned with hand-dripped resin dew drops. Measuring 4.65cm wide & 6cm high, it has a stainless steel brooch backing and can be worn on your shirt, jacket, bag, hat... your creativity is the limit!

Our brooches are assembled and painted by hand, whilst we strive to make them all look identical, there will be small differences due to the handmade nature of this art. Any acrylic with a pattern through is will mean each and every brooch will be slightly different, this is what we consider one of the best parts of brooch making - every piece is unique! Please be careful with your brooches, although they are sturdy, if you drop them, they could break.
